Endemic to Tarutao, Thailand, Hoya flagellata is a close relative of Hoya caudata with a truly distinctive look. Its narrow, velvety leaves can sun-stress to warm tones in high light, trailing elegantly on long vines. Umbels of extraordinary flowers: hairy white stars with strange “tentacles” emerging from their corona, unlike most other Hoya, appear at night. A rare species prized for its unusual blooms and elegant foliage.
