Hoya caudata (black leaves)
A darker, moodier form of H. caudata, with foliage that leans deep and shadowy, especially under good light. The leaves carry that familiar matte, textured look, giving the plant a distinctly dramatic feel. It grows steadily but with a slightly unpredictable rhythm, each new leaf arriving with its own character. When in bloom, it offers a striking contrast — white, fuzzy flowers with delicate tentacles and a fuchsia centre, almost unexpected against the dark foliage. A bold, slightly wild Hoya that adds depth and personality to a collection.

Light: Bright Spot
Prefers bright, indirect light but can handle some gentle sun. A few hours of morning or late-afternoon sunlight will keep growth strong without stressing the leaves.
Humidity: Enjoys a Little Extra
Happy in the same humidity levels most people enjoy at home. Around 40% is plenty, though the plant won’t mind if the air gets a little more moist.
Temperature: Comfort Zone
Happy in regular indoor conditions, between 18–26 °C. Steady, moderate warmth will keep growth even and reliable.
